Giulio: pilot
Founder and chief pilot of the TorreNera Balloon he began his professional career as an engineer also taking an interest in the design and construction of infrastructural works in the aeronautical sector. The great passion for flying (inherited from his father, a military pilot and Boeing 747 instructor commander at Alitalia) has guided him over the years through the obtainment of numerous licenses and piloting licenses in the most diverse aeronautical disciplines, for a total of over 1000 flight hours.
In 2000 his greatest passion was born: the "lighter than air". At the Lindstrand School of Ballooning in Ronda (Spain) he attended the aerostat course to then improve and get a patent at the Cameron School of Ballooning in Mondovì (CN). Since then he has never stopped flying the skies following the winds and flying adventures have multiplied in every corner of Italy and abroad to then land in the spectacular Umbria where he gives life to a balloon passenger transport business .
Mia: organization and coordination
After studying History of Art at the Faculty of Letters and History in Florence, he began his experience in the aeronautical world as a Business class long-haul flight attendant. The passion for flying, inherited from her father, a pilot and photogrammetry expert, led her to fly for over twenty years in the skies all over the world.
She obtains the French license in Paris (Certificat Securité Sauvetage) at the French Civil Aviation Authority and specializes in First Aid at the Croix Rouge. The love for Tuscany, her native land, and for the French countryside, from which the maternal family comes, lead her to become passionate about the world of wine and she attends the Sommelier Course in Rome at the Bibenda Association directed by Franco Maria Ricci . You arrive in Umbria with the dream of continuing to fly on the oldest "flying machine" and bring its poetry to life.
Riccardo: crew chief
A great lover of flying, he boasts valuable aeronautical experience as a paratrooper in the Folgore Brigade with a qualification for military drops at low altitudes and at night. Off-road driving expert and profound connoisseur of the Umbrian territory.
Assistant to the pilot in the flight preparation phase and coordinator in the recovery operations and return to the take-off base. He periodically carries out courses for the training of new crews.
